Attend the Work Party Session That Suits You Best

Join us at Westbrook Mere for they years work party's. Depending on the day's requirements, tasks may also be carried out at Pixies or Durrants. Be prepared to travel between these waters as needed.

Meeting Point: Westbrook Mere. From there, members will be directed to the necessary lakes.

Important Information:

• Sign-In Required: Upon arrival at Westbrook Mere, all members must sign in. This serves as proof of your participation in a work party.
• Membership Renewal: You can renew your membership during the work party. Visit the membership team in the committee hut for assistance. Cash payments are accepted on work party dates. For digital renewals, please complete the form online and ensure your details are up to date via the BDAS Clubmate app. Incorrect details may lead to membership cancellation.
• Exemptions: Pensioners and disabled members are not required to attend, but your presence (and tea-making skills) would be greatly appreciated.
• What to Bring: Work gloves, wellies, waders, hammers, wire cutters, saws, and other relevant tools. Specialists (carpenters, electricians, roofers) are encouraged to bring their tools. Tea and coffee provided – please bring your own cup or mug.
• Waiver Fee: Members unable to attend must pay a £50.00 waiver fee. Those absent due to illness should submit a doctor’s note to membership@bdas.org before the work party date.
• Renewal Deadline: Membership must be renewed by 1st June 2022. Late renewals risk refusal due to our waiting list.
