Fish care & tackle
Pike fishing runs from 1 September to 31 March unless advised otherwise.
Nuts are not permitted in any form.
Use main mono reel line to the hook link. Leadcore, leaders and fixed-lead rigs are banned.
Carp and pike nets must be at least 42 inches. Other target species require a 15–18 inch pan net.
Carp anglers need a suitable retaining-flap unhooking mat and carp-care kit.
Suitable sacks are to be only be used for the retention of fish for witnessing and weighing and in the case of pike also for a recovery period before release.
Never leave baited rods unattended.

Access & mebership
A valid Clubmate membership and photo must be available for inspection.
A current Environment Agency rod licence is required.
Members must complete at least one official work party each year.
No guest tickets are available at Westbrook Mere.
Keep every gate locked, including otter-fence gates.

On the bank
Two rods may be used, with a permitted third rod from 1 October to 31 March.
Baited rods must not be left unattended. Baits must be removed from the water and from the hook/hair prior to leaving your swim for any reason.
Do not reserve swims or obstruct access paths with bivvies.
Leave no litter or waste. Use the toilets at Westbrook Mere.
No fish may be introduced or removed without club and EA approval.
No dogs, illegal drugs or alcohol. No open fires; disposable BBQs are permitted.
Incidents and acceptance
Report any incident involving injury or potential insurance interest to the Secretary immediately in writing. Paying a subscription confirms acceptance of the club by-laws and Company rules shown in Clubmate.
